Service Regimes for Diesel Engines*
The LongLife Service Regime is so called because there are no set intervals. The intervals between services will vary depending on how you drive your vehicle and the conditions of use. There is however maximum time/distance parameters set and if the service light has not come on it will do so when either maximum mileage or time limit is met.
The maximum mileage/time parameters vary by model, for more detailed information on LongLife Service regimes and their suitability for your requirements please contact your local Van Centre.
If you would like a more traditional service regime the vehicle can be adapted by your authorised Volkswagen Van Centre or Van Service Centre to the Time/Distance regime. This can be done at the point of vehicle sale or when an inspection service is carried out. An oil change is required every 10,000 miles for Caddys and Transporters and 12,500 for Crafters on the Time/Distance regime.
*Please note that all mileages are approximate as the service indicator system uses kilometres as the distance measure.
