Technology and specification

The Caravelle's dash-mounted gear lever - image

The Caravelle is the only truly practical MPV and its specification and technology ensure that this statement is true no matter what part of the vehicle you are concerned with.

The Caravelle’s floor mounted rail system is designed to let you tailor the interior layout to your own specific requirements. Even when carrying seven people, there’s still enough room for luggage.

However, it’s not just passenger room and luggage space that set the Caravelle apart. For the driver, the driving experience is made all the better with a surprisingly powerful and responsive range of economical TDI PD diesel engines with power outputs up to 174PS, or a V6 petrol engine providing an impressive 235PS.

The Caravelle is also doing its bit for the environment. All engines are now EU4 compliant, and all of the diesel engines are fitted with a diesel particulate filter (DPF) which helps cut particulates from exhaust gases.

With MPVs, especially those capable of transporting seven people and luggage, safety is of paramount importance. Every vehicle comes with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Traction Control System (TCS). Passive safety features such as driver and passenger airbags and side and front curtain airbags, ensure the safety of this MPV’s passengers is maximised.

So if technology, specification and safety are all taken care of, what’s stopping you from experiencing the only truly practical MPV - the Caravelle?
