Electronic Stabilisation Program (ESP)

When a vehicle is driven in situations close to its limit, ESP makes it easier to control by providing greater directional stability. By applying the brakes on individual wheels it generates forces that help keep the vehicle moving in the right direction. The system is permanently active and utilises the ABS, EBD, EDL and TCS safety systems. The ESP sensor takes any load into account and adjusts its response accordingly. However, if a driver pushes a vehicle beyone limits, ESP cannot prevent an accident.
