ABS, TCS, EBC and EBD.
The Transporter offers Anti - lock Braking System (ABS), Traction Control System (TCS/ASR)* and Engine Braking Control (EBC). If you require more grip, a range of 4MOTION® models are available.

Driver and passenger airbags.
Driver and passenger airbags are fitted as standard to all Transporters.
Seat belts on all seats.
Three-point seat belts are standard on all seats. Outer cab seats also feature belt tensioners and are height adjustable.
Electronic Stabilisation Programme (ESP).
For added safety and stability, the Transporter panel van, window van and chassis and double cab can be fitted with Electronic Stabilisation Programme (ESP) and a brake assist system. Standard on 130PS 4MOTION® window van models.
Side and front curtain airbags.
Transporters with single passenger seat can be fitted with side and curtain airbags.
Parking sensors.
Rear ultrasound sensors fitted into rear bumper make parking easier by alerting the driver to potential hazards. As acoustic warning signal sounds as the vehicle approaches an obstruction. Offered on panel van and window van models.
