What do I get with an Interim Service?

We'll make sure to check the: - Wipers, washers and fluid level
- Horn
- Lights
- Condition of the front and rear lamps
- Instruments
- Battery 'magic eye'
- Coolant level and antifreeze strength
- Condition of visible drive belts
- Brake fluid level
- Power-assisted steering level
- Saturation indicator on the air filter (if fitted)
- Tyre condition, wear patterns and tread depths
- Tyre pressures and correct them if necessary
- Brake system for leaks and damage
- Thickness of the front and rear brake pads/linings
- Steering and suspension for wear and leaks
- Drive shafts
- Condition of the exhaust system

A: Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and participating Volkswagen van centres and Authorised Repairers will promote the offer until 31st March 2011.

Q: How many times can I use the offer?
A: There’s no limit. You can take advantage of the offer as many times as you need to during the offer period.

Q: Is the offer only available on Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles or are any other makes included?
A: Extension of the offer to other manufacturer makes is at the discretion of your local Volkswagen Van Centre or Authorised Repairer. Please ask for details.

Q: This offer seems good value for a Volkswagen Van Centre... why?
A: By using the latest technical information, quality parts and fully trained Volkswagen Technicians we can work efficiently and keep costs down.

Q: What extras will I be charged for?/ What else will I be asked to pay for?
A: Any additional work identified by your Van Centre or Authorised repairer during the service will be separately quoted for and notified to you before the work is undertaken.

Q: Can I bring my whole fleet in for a service?
A: Yes. We'd be happy to service all your Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.

Q: What will be the impact on my Service Plan?
A: None. But if you own a new Volkswagen van you would save even more money by signing up for a Service Plan.

Q: Is VAT included?
A: All prices exclude VAT. This will help you compare our offer with any others on the market.

Q: Do I get a courtesy vehicle?
A: You can book a courtesy vehicle, alternative transport or make other arrangements with your Volkswagen van centre or Authorised repairer. Please note that this is subject to availability.

Q: I have just bought my van... do I still qualify for the offer?
A: Yes. All Volkswagen vans qualify.

Q: Will this affect my warranty?
A: No.

Q: Will it change the service schedule?
A: No. Both the Interim and Full Service cover all the appropriate elements of the Time & Distance and LongLife service requirements.
