Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has created some of the most famous multi-purpose vehicles (MPVs) of all time, including the iconic campervan. But how do you remaster a classic for the modern world? You create the ID. Buzz.

Fully electric, packed with cutting-edge features, and offering plenty of space, the ID. Buzz was built for the future. To celebrate its release, we’ve teamed up with innovative influencers to create a series of projects that capture the ID. Buzz philosophy.

There are many things that make the ID. Buzz and the ID. Buzz Cargo fascinating. But what happens when the fascination becomes art, is shown by the 3D artists at Boldtron. The design collective from Barcelona was inspired by the concept and design of the ID. Buzz. What came out surprised even us.

Natural sounds meet the ID. Buzz

Biologist by day, DJ by night - as a specialist in environmental toxicology, Jayda G has one big goal: "Music and the environment are the two things that I have in my head day and night. My goal is to figure out how to fuse these two things together. " ID. Buzz inspired her to create an unusual song.

For Albert Kirzinger, Head of Design at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, the ID. Buzz is simply “the first of a new generation, both in terms of technology and design.” He and his colleagues Lars Menge, Head of Product Marketing, and Christian Senger, Head of Autonomous Driving, give us some exciting insights into the development of the vehicle concept, with which Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is heralding a new era of electric mobility.
