Using the Volkswagen app means you can preheat the interior while you eat breakfast, avoid traffic jams on your journey, and lock your ID. Buzz, all from your mobile.
Air Conditioning
Obtain comfortable temperatures in the vehicle before you travel using the Volkswagen app to control the air conditioning in your ID. Buzz.
Your ID. Buzz can be air-conditioned in advance to your preferred temperature remotely and in line with your usual departure times, meaning you won't be using the battery capacity to warm up the interior of your vehicle whilst you drive. Air conditioning status, preferred temperature and departure times can be viewed and amended at any time in the app.
Charging
Start and stop charging straight from the Volkswagen app. This helps you to keep track of your remaining charging time, current range and battery charge level.
Control: to help protect your ID. Buzz's battery, the Volkswagen app allows you to reduce your charging speed for AC Charging.
Departure Times
You set the departure time – the Volkswagen app will look after the rest.
The "Departure Times" service allows charging to begin at your chosen time, where you can benefit from charging at the cheapest and greenest times.
Emergency Call Service
With the ‘Emergency Call Service’, you are covered in the event of a serious incident. In emergency situations, your vehicle calls for help automatically, or alternatively you can press a button to do so
Battery Care Mode
Optimise the service life of your ID. Buzz's high-voltage battery automatically: Battery Care Mode always sets the target charge level to a battery saving 80%.
Convenient and flexible: You can set a higher target charge level before longer trips if necessary
Online Anti-Theft Alarm1
If an attempt is made to break into the vehicle, the ‘Online Anti-Theft Alarm’ will inform the Volkswagen app on your smartphone or by email.*
