ID. Buzz – Terms and Conditions – discounted Ohme wall box

ID. Buzz Retail

1.     New ID. Buzz retail customers who place an order between 4th April 2023 and 3rd July 2023 (inclusive) and who take delivery of their vehicle and complete the wall box installation within three months of  delivery of the vehicle can receive either:

a.     a 7kW Ohme ePod (untethered) wall box charger; or

b.     a 7kW Ohme Home Pro (tethered) wall box charger

each with standard installation for £99 inclusive of VAT.

2.     A customer is not entitled to receive both wall boxes at the discounted price.

3.     This offer is open to UK residents who are property owners (or renters with landlord's permission) aged 18+ with off-street parking at their property only. UK sales only (excludes Channel Islands and Isle of Man).

4.     Fleet customers (limited companies and other businesses with five or more vehicles) are not eligible to participate in the offer. 

5.     This offer is not available for customers who purchase a vehicle on Personal Contract Hire with Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle Financial Services.

6.     The wall box must be purchased and ordered from Ohme via the Ohme Portal by participating Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle UK Van Centre ("Van Centre") or Volkswagen UK Retailer at the time of ordering your new ID. Buzz. Please request the offer at the time of order and the Van Centre or Volkswagen Retailer will order your wall box. Wall boxes are not available retrospectively. Please speak to your Van Centre or Retailer for more information. 

7.     Wall boxes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to withdraw this offer at any time. 

8.     The wall box included in the offer is either a 7kW Ohme ePod (untethered) wall box or a 7kW Ohme Home Pro (tethered) wall box, each come with standard installation only. The availability of standard installation depends on various factors including the age and condition of the existing wiring at the property and the location of the nearest electricity point/meter. 9.     Standard installation is subject to survey.

10.  Payment, supply, installation and maintenance of the wall box will be subject to a separate contract between the customer and Ohme. Neither Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles UK or Volkswagen UK nor the Van Centre or Volkswagen Retailer can accept any responsibility in connection with that contract and any customer queries or claims must be directed to Ohme. Customers will need to liaise directly with Ohme in connection with survey and installation. 

11.  Any additional costs for example additional accessories, wall box upgrades, non-standard installation or installation after three months of delivery of the vehicle must be paid for by the customer.

12.  If the customer rents their property, then they are responsible for obtaining the landlord's permission for the installation. All other permissions and consents are also the responsibility of the customer.

13.  Wall box is only available for installation at an address owned by the ID. Buzz customer (or rented by the ID. Buzz customer, with the landlord's permission) with off-street parking and electrical capacity sufficient to support the wall box (unless otherwise specifically agreed with Volkswagen UK).

14.  Wall boxes are non-transferable and non-refundable and there is no cash or other alternative. However, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles UK and Volkswagen UK reserves the right to include a different wall box and installation, of equivalent or greater value, within the offer. 

15.  If an ID. Buzz order is cancelled after installation of the wall box, then the customer will be liable to repay to Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles UK the fees paid by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles UK in connection with the wall box and standard installation. If the customer cancels an ID. Buzz order before the installation has taken place then no charges will be made and they will no longer be entitled to a wall box with standard installation through this offer. This does not affect customers' statutory rights.
