The all-electric Transporter provides an impressive power output of  136 PS or 218 PS depending on trim. California eHybrid

The new California eHybrid 4MOTION will get you to your destination with confidence. The eHybrid model uses the combined efficiency of an electric motor and a high-tech TSI engine for maximum range and a towing capacity of up to 2,000 kg. Perfect for globetrotters with boats or motorbikes in tow.

Thanks to hybrid power and 4MOTION all-wheel drive, which automatically engages the rear axle when required, you can reliably master even rough terrain - whether muddy camping meadows, gravel or snow-covered roads. California eHybrid 4MOTION offers a purely electric range of up to 53 miles2 in the WLTP cycle and is now available order in all trim levels.

Multivan eHybrid

The Multivan is available as a plug-in hybrid⁠ combining an electric battery with a modern conventional petrol engine. The combination allows a fully electric performance over shorter distances, saving you money, whilst also providing you with confidence and flexibility on longer journeys.
