In the main, Service Plans do provide a little discount when compared to servicing costs when you pay as you go, and they are fixed at today’s prices so protect you from the usual inflation costs. However, the main reason for buying a Service Plan is the peace of mind that the costs are taken care of in advance and you can spread the cost without incurring any additional cost.

A Service Plan from Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is a payment plan that combines the cost of 2 services (usually oil changes and inspections as per the schedule) into one lump sum, providing you with the chance to pay monthly or upfront, avoiding larger payments when services are due.

The age of your vehicle and the number of miles you drive will help you determine which plan to go for. We have a Standard Plan for basic servicing needs, and the Plus Plan for older vehicles that may need extra filters replaced at a certain age / mileage.

All models apart from ABT transporter are suitable for a Service Plan. Some models come with a Service Plan from new, and therefore will not need a Service Plan because it is already provided with the 5+ Promise.

Booking your vehicle into one of our Van Centres is quick and easy—and the process is the same for all customers.

If you're on a Service Plan:

     • Use our online booking tool, which will automatically recognise your plan and remove any pricing from service-related jobs. This ensures a smooth, worry-free booking experience.

     • Prefer to speak to someone? Simply call your preferred Van Centre, and they’ll be happy to arrange your appointment and confirm your plan details.

We do offer Service Plans on Electric Vehicles but these are provided from new and are included in the price of the vehicle. Service Plans are not available for ABT Transporter.

You can cancel your Service Plan within 14 days of purchasing the plan, providing no work has been carried out.
