The horn and hazard warning lights can be remotely controlled via the app with the "Horn & turn signals" service. The service must be used strictly in accordance with all relevant and applicable legal requirements.

Ventilate your car from home in low or high temperatures with ease using the Volkswagen app. You can also set departure times in the app so your vehicle is always at a pleasant temperature for you.⁠

On cold days, you can pre-warm your car whilst you are still having breakfast. With the Online Auxiliary Heater* service, you can also set departure times using the Volkswagen app, so your vehicle is always heated and de-iced when you arrive.⁠

Control the central locking system of your vehicle – using your smartphone as a remote control, you can conveniently lock and unlock the doors and luggage compartment.⁠

If you drive a plug-in hybrid or fully electric vehicle, the “Departure Times” service lets you set your preferred interior temperature for your departure time and in certain vehicle models, also lets you specify when to charge the battery.⁠

If you drive a plug-in hybrid or fully electric vehicle, the "Air Conditioning" service enables you to personalise your temperature settings. In addition, the "Windscreen heating" function improves visibility and lets you sleep a little longer.⁠

With the optional voice control⁠ online upgrade, you can enhance your vehicle’s voice control. Select your favourite music online, search for your favourite internet radio station with voice command, and take advantage of the intuitive destination input while navigating. Depending on the vehicle model, you can also dictate emails or have them read out to you or operate your In-Car Apps – without taking your eyes off the road.

Apple Music streaming service is now available to you for VW Connect Plus directly and easily via the infotainment system of your Volkswagen*. Simply log in using your existing access details and enjoy the best of entertainment while driving.
