Built on the multi-award-winning Crafter and sharing its 3-year warranty, the Crafter Luton makes light work of long shifts thanks to its comfortable cab, uprated suspension and advanced load restraints. The Crafter Luton is available as a single cab long wheelbase version with optional tail lift.

Stay safe on the road

The Volkswagen Crafter Luton comes with a range of driver assistance features to help you stay safe on the road as well as optional extras such as lane assist and cruise control.

Front Assist with City Emergency Braking

As standard on all Volkswagen vans

Setting a new standard in driving safety, Volkswagen are the first to include Front Assist with City Emergency Braking as standard across their van range. Using a radar sensor, Front Assist detects when the vehicle in front is too close. It will warn you and prepare the vehicle for braking. If nothing changes, it partially applies the brakes, giving you a better chance of avoiding or minimising a collision.

City Emergency Braking works in combination with Front Assist. When you’re travelling up to 18 mph it will automatically prepare the brakes if a collision is likely. If the driver doesn’t brake then the system will do it automatically.

Automatic Post-Collision Braking

This state-of-the-art system helps to prevent follow-on collisions. When the airbag sensor detects a collision, the brakes are automatically applied to avoid or lessen the impact of a secondary collision. The hazard and brake lights are illuminated, and the driver can take control at any time.
